Some Epson EcoTank printers may display a Wi‑Fi error with code 202620. This article provides steps to resolve the issue.

Symptoms

  • The printer panel displays: "WiFi Error occurred. Contact Epson Support."

  • Error Code: 202620

Solution

Complete the following troubleshooting steps:

 

  1. Check Network Settings: 
    Ensure the printer is connected to the correct wireless network.
     
  2. Restart Devices:
    Power cycle both the printer and the router.
     
  3. Verify SSID and Password:
    Confirm that the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password are correct.
     
  4. Update Printer Firmware:
    Install any available firmware updates through the Epson software or printer menu.
     

 

If the issue continues after performing all the above steps, the printer is likely experiencing a hardware fault and will require a service. Please contact Epson support for service options.
